Why We Should Care about Water When we give a community in Africa the gift of clean water along with hygiene education, it . . . brightens the hope of every man, woman, and child in the community affords the women economic opportunity improves people's health helps to end suffering and death from water related diseases affords educational opportunity for girls gives tangible evidence that God loves them opens the door for sharing the Gospel "But whoever has the world's goods and sees his brother in need and closes his heart of compassion against him, how does the love of God remain in him?" I John 3:17 We believe that God's heart is a heart of compassion and that He is a God of justice who would have us show the love of Jesus by relieving the suffering of the oppressed. Sure Foundation Ministry and Walk for Water Africa are involved in ongoing work to make sources of clean water --wells and protected springs --available to village throughout Sub Saharan Africa.
